This helps to provide the Court with an understanding of the family’s circumstances with a focus on the child’s experience. It can also help all the parties involved to reach an agreement.
A Family Report is a comprehensive assessment of the family situation, which assists the Court to make long-term orders for the child. The report will consider the family’s circumstances, explore issues relevant to the family and recommend care arrangements which will best meet the child's welfare and developmental needs.
